Haiku Entwined Blossoms
Good day one and all ; I have have been bitten by the crafty bug lately and love taking photos and then experimenting with various themes ; my favourite site being "Photomania".
Therefore what better way to spend a Saturday morning than to create images alongside poetry.
We only have a small paved patio as a garden but we grow flowers,shrubs,fruit,vegetables etc in pots.
We also have a well stocked bird table, feeders which are kept full and are visited by so many birds each and everyday.
The final five Haiku titled "Sweet garden of love" are all about our mini garden which we created in memory of my beautiful sister Val who passed over in 1999 and my sweet loving daughter Erin who tragically passed over in 2009.
To those of you who are new to my hubs I must explain that we planted four plants ;A Rock Rose; a Hebe; a Forest Flame and an Azalea.
The Rock Rose very soon out grew and overcame the others and this is what led to me calling my sweet daughter Erin "My Beautiful Rock Rose" as she had to be the star of the show wherever she was!!!
She was such a wonderful kind,caring and lively soul as well as being so very beautiful and I have a book of fifty poems published with the title being "My Beautiful Rock Rose."
I hope it helps others along their way and I love to sit out here and allow the inspiration to flow over me. I also know they are both with me in my heart and by my side for eternity.
The garden is not a sad place ;it's a place of great beauty and where the most wonderful memories dwell.

I also have so much fun with my grandchildren out here ( eleven at the moment but soon to be thirteen ) and it's usually the setting for so many treasured and precious photos.
I also love the music of Pan Pipes and came across this video of 'Unchained Melody' which is one of my all time favourite songs.

Pink and blue or blue and pink
Each Lupin stands tall.
